About "Muscular Christianity"
Most people approach their lives as a series of file folders. Over here you've got your God folder, over here you have the family folder, over there is the work folder and so on.

Thing is, God never intended salvation to be something that resulted in Him being one of several "folders." He's not a file folder, He's the Filing Cabinet!

"Muscular Christianity" is a biblically based mindset where you're intentionally blurring the lines that typically separate the secular from the sacred - and while that includes diet and exercise, it's ultimately effects everything!

"Inspiration | Perspiration | Transformation" - you're not merely trying to improve yourself, you're looking to honor your King. Not becasue you have to, but because He's worth your best. That's your inspiration for everything that you do (Col 3:23-24).

When you approach the task in front of you armed with that kind of Inspiration, you're now looking at things from a completely different perspective.

Couple that with some real accountability, and you're poised on the threshold of great things!

The great thing about all this is that you have access to, not only a different perspective, you also have a Source of Strength that takes your best to a whole new level. It's no longer what you alone can do, but what Christ can do in and through you (Phil 2:13). However you perspire and strain to get it done, when your spiritual tires are aligned the way they need to be, you've got His energy flowing through your veins and not just a human resolve to get it done (Col 1:29)!

Finally, the transformation that God facillitates in you as you become more and more like Him (2 Cor 3:18). Physically fit, yes, if for no other reason than you're recognizing gluttony as sin, but more importantly, you're spirtually ripped which effects every nuance of your life!

And God is able to make all grace abound to you so that in all things, at all times having all that you need, you will abound in every good work! (2 Cor 9:8)"

A good work is anything that reflects well on your Heavenly Father. Are you ready to do some "good work?"

Inspriation, Perspiration, Transformation...

Let's do this!
